Redemptive Labs

Redemptive Labs are 40-hour curated retreats where like-minded founders and mentors explore what it looks like to build a redemptive venture. The Redemptive Lab experience is designed for founders’ specific needs and opportunities—generating experience-based insights and discussions about how to apply the Praxis Redemptive Frame to company strategy (what we build), operations (how we build), and our own leadership (why we build). Founders will share vision presentations and get 1:1 mentoring from experienced venture builders. Labs are built to create these outcomes for participants:

  • Peer community with other Founders

  • Problem solving with peers and mentors

  • Structured guidance and business clarity

  • Venture visibility and access to a broader local network

  • Practices for integrating faith into personal leadership rhythms

Redemptive Labs are designed by Praxis Labs and hosted locally by the Denver Redemptive Labs Team who seeks to actively cultivate a venture-building ecosystem in the Colorado Front Range. See the Denver Institute for Faith & Work events page for information on the quarterly Workshop breakfast for those who own, run, and build organizations.

Interest

We are looking to build an active community of venture builders with a redemptive imagination. Each Redemptive Lab needs a mix of founders, mentors, funders, and team members (who help host the experience). So whether you are a founder who might want to go through a Redemptive Lab, a funder interested in supporting, an experienced venture builder interested in mentoring, or a builder interested in helping put on the Lab, we’d love to hear from you via the interest form below.

We look for FOUNDERS who are leading ventures/organizations that are:

  • Early-stage, ideally within first 5 years of operations, or on the cusp of a major transition

  • Post-hunch, actively pursuing traction and growth in what they are building

  • Designing an innovative solution in their sector

  • Aiming to pursue their mission through a scalable model and redemptive approach

  • Businesses OR Nonprofits — there are two different types of Labs that serve either businesses or nonprofits

Ideal FOUNDERS are serious Christians who are:

  • Aiming to embody the gospel through a redemptive venture

  • Humble and teachable, with a passion for excellence

  • Seeking an accountable community to grow together in faith and supporting one another’s ventures

  • Lead decision makers of their venture and (ideally) working full-time on the venture

We look for MENTORS who have:

  • Experience in various aspects of start-up through early-stage venture  building: leadership, operations, strategy, marketing/sales, scaling, funding, etc.

  • An integrated view of how their faith shapes their work, and vice versa

  • A desire to share the wisdom they’ve gained with founders who are earlier in their entrepreneurial journey

We’d love to connect with you if:

  • You are interested in learning more about participating as a Founder or Mentor in a lab

  • You would like to nominate someone else as a possible Founder or Mentor for a lab

  • You have are curious to learn more about Redemptive Labs and these roles

Upcoming Events

We are planning our next Redemptive Business Lab for November 12-14, 2025. We are hosting the Lab in Jefferson, CO to be more central to the major metro areas across the Front Range. If you are interested in hearing about this opportunity as a business/nonprofit Founder or as a potential Mentor, please reach out via the interest form below! If you “Nominate” someone other than yourself, a member of the Denver Redemptive Lab team will simply reach out to that nominee by email to ask if they would like to learn more.
